ANA has unveiled the features of its first Airbus A380 that will launch in spring of 2019 on the Tokyo – Honolulu route. The upper deck of the aircraft will feature 8 First Class seats, 56 Business Class seats and 73 Premium Economy seats.

ANA took delivery of its first A380 in March 2019. All three A380s flying for the biggest Japanese airline will be dedicated to the popular leisure route between Tokyo and Honolulu. The first, blue A380 — registered JA-381A — is colored after the Hawaiian sky. The second — JA-382A — is emerald green after the Hawaiian ocean.

This jet is painted in blue to represent the Hawaiian blue sky. The second superjumbo introduced has an emerald green coating, which resembles the crystal clear waters that surround the islands. The third A380 was due to arrive in April. ANA’s A380 cabin has been designed to evoke the spirit of Hawaii as soon as passengers board, with the walls and lighting arranged to pay homage to the island’s blue skies, sunrises and sunsets, night skies and rainbows. There are bar counters in every class. Couch seats have foldable leg rests, enabling passengers to lie down.

While the final one won’t be delivered until next year, the first two have already been delivered. Each of the three aircraft will be delivered with a unique livery. The first aircraft is ANA Blue and represents the Hawaiian sky.
